Mercedes-Benz and Car Bench International S.p.A. started their collaboration in the early 70s.
At first the prestigious German car manufacturer had identified in the specific jigs produced by Car Bench the optimal product for the repair of its vehicles, because of the great precision assured. Leaving however to the generic bodyshop the possibility to carry out the repairs through the use of the universal jig.
After the demand from the approved bodyshop was for more performing equipment that ensured the same quality standards. In order to protect its network, Mercedes-Benz proceeded with the approval of the Universal Jig, a solution with a lower economic impact but with certain reliability and precision.
The technological revolution developed over the years has also led to the introduction of the electronic measuring instrument Contact Evolution among the Mercedes-Benz approvals.
Today the goal of the partnership between Mercedes-Benz and Car Bench is to develop new repair technologies, to guarantee always better and more effective results, for a future characterized by progress.
