Car Bench is a pioneer in OEM partnerships and collaborations. It all begun already back in 1967 when the company started receiving OEM approvals by most of the leading manufacturers around the world. 

Car Bench is still today carrying Prestige and Exclusive OEM approvals. 

With over 50 years of collaboration together with OEMs, Car Bench started immediately developing equipment for the design and assembly of new vehicle Prototypes up to the Pre-series inside OEM Engineering and R&D departments. 

In fact, to fully understand the correct repair procedure of a vehicle, it is extremely important to know how the vehicle was built in the first place. It is important to understand which was the original OEM engineering considered while building the BIW and how this would affect the different materials used on each vehicle during crash tests at different speeds.

To repair a vehicle on the same exact system it was developed and built on makes a huge difference. It drastically reduces the risks for mistakes in bodyshops during repairs and at the same time it improves the quality and safety of a vehicle that is to be sent back out on the road again.

Manufacturers today are using advanced technology to design and build modern vehicles which have resulted in tighter tolerances and improved quality control. With Car Bench equipment there is no guesswork. It will fit perfectly and allow the vehicles to be restored back to original manufacture specifications and safety conditions.

Unfortunately, many wrong restorations are being carried out with the wrong equipment nowadays that can cause severe accidents and put lives at stake.

Car Bench philosophy has always been to share its know-how with the workers in the bodyshop and not only to produce and sell straightening equipment.
