Car Bench started its collaboration with Tesla Inc in 2011 (named Tesla Motors back then) after being contacted by the Tesla Motors Aftersales Managers in California, USA.
In 2012 the Tesla Management visited Car Bench International S.p.A. in Italy to see the complete production facility and the unique world-famous Car Bench Training Academy. One of the main aspect that was known to the public was the incredible aluminium expertise the Car Bench team had achieved.
It was a pleasure for Car Bench to receive their feedback and positive impressions during their stay which resulted in a constructive partnership for both companies from the very beginning.
Car Bench was the first worldwide approved bodyshop equipment supplier for Tesla Motors and all Jig datasheets produced by Car Bench were based on the original Tesla blue print data.
Furthermore, Car Bench was the first company able to follow step by step the development and launch of the incredible market-breaker Tesla Model S.
